The butterfly medallion is Cloisonné, which is an ancient technique for decorating metalwork objects with colored material held in place by metal strips. Kelly green and turquoise glass teardrops, rounds, rondelles, and twists with dark peach freshwater pearls, and gold spacers comprise the foundation of the necklace. A gold-plated dragonfly toggle finishes off the design. Approximate length is 70 cm.
