DATE: Art Deco, c.1920

Truly exceptional Art Deco period stud earrings, circa 1920. Their teardrop shape body dangles from three articulated bezel set diamonds, with further articulation to the inner sections which are crafted with abstract foliate forms and each home to a .28ct transitional cut diamond. Every visible edge is finished in fine millegrain (naturally), and the bottom curve is a masterpiece of platinum openwork. Set with calibré cut emeralds and various diamond cuts (transitional, rose, single cut) they're striking and refined in equal measure.
